Our lab was in need of a glovebox during the summer of 2013, and we acquired one at a very reasonable price after contacting Jim at usedglovebox.com. Jim was very knowledgeable and informed us about the ins and outs of the glovebox, which made the whole transition very smooth. It’s been a year and the glovebox is running strong without any major issues. We look forward to doing business with Jim again in the future.
Back in May of 2011 Jim managed to find us a beautiful 2007 2-port glove box, by a well known manufacturer, with very little use and in great condition. Nanogram Corporation found Jim Hanson, at UsedGloveBox.com, to be a valuable resource in the procurement of this high quality glove box system at a greatly reduced price. Jim’s ability to communicate and knowledge of glove box systems was critical in locating and acquiring a great system for our application in timely manner. Jim operates with integrity and a genuine concern for customer service putting his client's needs first in order to ensure overall satisfaction. I highly recommend UsedGloveBox.com and look forward to dealing with Jim again for our future equipment needs.
My interactions with Mr. Hanson began when I was relocating my synthetic laboratory from New England to the west coast. In less than a week, he helped me decommission an MBraun Unilab glovebox and transfer ownership to a small start-up specializing in the production of ionic liquids. Working remotely, it was Jim’s unrivaled customer service and thoughtful correspondence that made the transition possible. Now settled at my new institution, I am utilizing his services again to breathe new life in an older Vacuum Atmospheres Company (VAC) workstation. Mr. Hanson has a working knowledge of all glovebox makes and models, and his prior industrial experience makes him a national expert in this vital area of instrumentation.
Mr. Hanson was very helpful in finding a used glovebox that was in excellent condition for a very reasonable price for our laboratory. In addition, he was very knowlegeable in the operation of the glovebox and helped to refurbish it with new parts which he identified for replacement. He was able to train our laboratory personnel on operation of this specific glovebox. As a result, we now have an inert atmosphere glovebox with less than 1 ppm oxygen that we will use for for working with reactive metals.
We found an older used glovebox that we wanted to refurbish to operate as new. Mr. Hanson was very helpful in guiding us through the process, identifying every area that may require attention. We received detailed lists of components and procedures, and received frequent consultation. He helped us complete the repairs and begin operation much quicker than expected.
